Knit Game by Loro Piana 2017
Knit Game Award is the international contest promoted by Loro Piana dedicated at the main Schools and Universities of Design and Fashion that have an academic course dedicated to Knitwear Design. In 2017 the Knitwear Design Studio won the first prize thanks to the work of Martina Micheli and Rosalba Fucci.
The other schools involved were IUAV of Venice, Ecole Duperré and Royal College of Art.
The textile collection proposed by the students, who then carried out their three-year final thesis, enhanced the characteristics of some collections of cashmere, silk and vicuña Loro Piana yarns.
The award ceremony was held at Palazzo Dondi in Florence and the collection was exhibited inside the Loro Piana stand during Pitti Filati, June 2017.
